An MVP should prove a workflow customers will pay for. It should not pretend to be a finished platform. The useful middle ground is a small product with a tenant-aware data model and clear module boundaries.
What to include in the first release
Authentication, roles, the core workflow, an admin view, and an audit trail of important actions. Billing can be manual at first if the entitlement model is already designed.
